The first version of the Perla Promotion website was made in 2006 always by Javalabs. The core business of the website is to let people book a seat for the TV shows managed by Perla Promotion (Amici di Maria de Filippi, Uomini e Donne, Tu si que vales, Maurizio Costanzo Show..). After 14 years of service, we decided to change the technology and the CMS at the base. This site is used by 40K users each month. So we decided to use WordPress to manage everything, and did a custom template.
After the publication of the new version, we did a huge data import to recreate the 36K user registered on the previous website, without loosing any of them. The result is a faster website, with the ability to manage the recordings of the live show and the booking of the seats by the attendants.
